Organic cigarettes<\/strong> sound like a cleaner, more natural version of conventional cigarettes. But is there really anything to that idea? What does organic<\/em> actually mean here, and are we simply talking about cigarettes without additives? Are Real Leaf herbal cigarettes<\/a> organic? We have the answers.<\/p>\n

Organic Cigarettes – Trend or Myth?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Anyone who wants to move away from smoking<\/a> has their own personal reasons. For many, health comes first. They no longer want to burden themselves with substances such as nicotine<\/a>. Anyone who values their ecological footprint, eats consciously, and thinks about the environment will probably also be interested in organic cigarettes.<\/p>\n

There are certainly mindful smokers who care about the tobacco they consume. They know cigarettes are harmful, but if they are going to smoke, they at least want the tobacco to be good quality. Organic cigarettes<\/span> therefore speak very directly to smokers who are lifestyle-conscious but do not yet want to, or cannot yet, leave tobacco behind.<\/p>\n

Cigarettes Without Additives<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A few years ago, the tobacco brand Natural American Spirit <\/a>tried to describe its tobacco as “organic”. A court quickly prohibited this, because that kind of wording is not permitted in Germany. Organic means that a product comes from ecological cultivation and has been produced in a natural, untreated way. If cigarettes or tobacco are described as organic, consumers may be led to assume that cigarettes are harmless to health. That is, of course, not true.<\/p>\n

Only the term cigarettes without additives<\/em> is permitted. Cigarettes without additives are also increasingly marketed and gladly bought in Germany. Cigarettes with additives, such as menthol cigarettes<\/a>, are now even banned.<\/p>\n

But be careful: even if the tobacco itself contains no additives, papers and filters are often treated with additives. Real Leaf therefore offers you papers and tips<\/a> that are 100% organic and contain no additives. They are unrefined and unbleached.<\/p>\n
